Get Lifted and Watch Macy Gray’s Viral Video for “Stoned”

Macy Gray will be releasing an album later this summer called The Way, and while her latest song “Stoned” isn’t the first single off the album but rather an album preview, it’s the perfect re-introduction to Gray.

“Stoned” is Macy’s message about seeking independence and recovery through getting lifted after being stood up on a date. You’ve been there. We’ve all been there. While this isn’t the official video, it’s what she’s calling her first “viral video” featuring a number of celebs that are frequently associated with getting lifted in a number of ways. This marks Macy’s return to music after two years and is her own statement on recreational marijuana legalization, basically showing how we’d all be a lot happier if weed was legalized.
