Theo Riddick caught a perfect pass from Matt Stafford in the final minute of the game to put the Lions up 20-16 on the Dolphins. Trailing Miami 16-13, the Lions got the ball with 3:13 left in the game and rattled off an 11-play, 74-yard scoring drive that left the Dolphins with only 29 seconds to pull of a miracle comeback. They did not.
What they did do was end the game on a hapless set of laterals that ended with one Dolphin eating it as the ball bounced past him and out of bounds.

Back to the Riddick touchdown, it’s a great bit of improvisation from Stafford. As he vacated the pocket to avoid the pass rush, he took advantage of Reshad Jones not playing the ball and fired a side-arm throw that tucked right into his receiver’s hands in the back of the end zone.
