Former Australian Olympic hero Grant Hackett has accused his brother of giving him a black eye, while his family say they have reached the "end of the road" with the swimmer's mental health.Hackett posted a picture on Instagram today, showing his bruised face and a black eye with the caption 'My brother comments to the media… but does anyone know he beat the shit out of me. Everyone knows he is an angry man.' It is unknown when the picture was taken. The Instagram post comes after Craig Hackett spoke to media after the 36-year-old swimmer - who won three Olympic gold medals at the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Games - was arrested over a disturbance at their parents' house on the Gold Coast yesterday. He was later released, without charge.

"It's coming to the point now where he's dangerous. At times he is dangerous," Craig Hackett told media. "He's a danger to himself, he's a danger to the community and poor Mum and Dad have tried to look after him so much I'm concerned for their welfare."If there's anybody out there at all who can help him, you know we're all for it. But I think we've reached the end of the road at this point."Hackett, who made a brief comeback for the 2015 World Championships in Russia after a six and a half year break from swimming, has struggled with life outside the pool.In 2011, a drunken rage saw Hackett destroy parts of his Melbourne apartment while his now ex-wife and kids watched on, while last year the ex-swimmer was involved in a bizarre nipple-tweaking incident on a domestic flight in Australia while he was drunk.
