Upcoming Creators, Mira Calix and United Visual Artists, have been awarded a distinction in the interactive art category at the Prix Ars Electronica 2010 for their stunning collaborative installation piece, Chorus, which you can catch in London this summer. If you’re unable to get to London, you can view the piece above as it looked at the world heritage site of Durham Cathedral. The piece consists of eight giant pendulums suspended from the roof that swing dauntingly above while emitting their own score, together creating a single instrument. Look for similar bouts of collaborative genius at the inaugural Creators Project event, happening in New York City on June 26.Congratulations, Mira and UVA! Very well done.
