Explore Installations From Our Beijing Event

Experience our closing event like never before.

The Creators Project Beijing event was the culmination of our inaugural global event series. It was the largest and longest, spanning over three days and several galleries at the world renowned 798 Art District. It marked merely the beginning of The Creators Project: innovative art works, creative and visionary thinkers, and incredible music and films.

If you were unable to hop on a plane and make your way over there, you may have lived it vicariously via our live blogs, photos, and videos. But, we just got a batch of nifty new interactive media that is going to bring the event back to life all over again, albeit virtually.

Firstly, there's Deep Zoom, a giant image of Muti Randolph’s Deep Screen installation you can zoom in on to reveal a digital collage of pictures from the event. Get lost exploring the crowds, exhibitions, and bands that were there over the three day gala.

There are also several really nicely produced videos of live performances from Major Lazer, New Pants, and several DJs, as well as of people immersing themselves in the reactive installations and the surrounding Beijing area. The videos are all beautifully shot with a time-lapse aesthetic and do as good a job as anything we've seen of conveying the energy of the event.

Lastly, take a look at the interactive 3D photograph below called a Photosynth. Created by mashing photographs together to capture as much of the three dimensional space as possible, the Photosynth allows you to move across the "space," zoom in, zoom out, and view it from various perspectives. This particular Photosynth shows the clothing line installation from Chinese fashion designer, Vega Wang
