The Hyperloop Got the Taiwanese Animation Treatment, Is Now a Relevant News Topic

When you've got a superhero in charge of building it, how could it not happen?

I'm sorry if this offends all you news junkies out there, but I have trouble believing that a breaking "storyline" is important until it's been packaged with cartoons and a font palette ripped from the original Iron Chef. There's just a certain lack of gravitas when a headline like "Airplane Crashes into Happiness Factory, Hundreds Presumed Dead" isn't delivered with glowing backshadow text.

And so here we are, and the geniuses at Next Media Animation in Taiwan have made another news story finally relevant. Elon Musk's Hyperloop plans were finally released last week, and from what I hear, some news organizations were calling it vaporware shortly thereafter. But fuck all that, because according to the NMA broadcast, this tube thing sounds pretty freaking awesome. (Aside from the whole security thing.) And when you've got a superhero in charge of building it, how could it not happen?
