Artists Show Us Their Interpretations of Indonesia (Pt. 1)

We asked artists from Indonesia and abroad to show us what comes to mind when they think of this incredibly varied country. Today we're presenting five of our favorites, including works by Makna Creative, Kingcula, and Fajar Domingo.

Fajar Domingo

The above images are from Fajar Domingo, an artist who uses collage, digital imaging, and photo manipulation to create "unthinkable dreamscapes." He prefers to leave the meaning of his work open in order to foster a spirit of conversation and interpretation in his audience.
