Surgeon, Monolake, Max Cooper, and More Join MUTEK 2017 Lineup

The Montreal festival will feature international showcases from Berlin, Barcelona, London, and Mexico City.

MUTEK has announced the second wave of artists playing the 18th edition of the Montreal electronic festival, taking place August 22-27 at various venues across the city.

Max Cooper, Monolake, Surgeon with Lady Starlight, Fred P, Helm, Polar Inertia, and more will join the previously announced lineup, which includes Aurora Halal, Daphni, Kara-Lis Coverdale, Marie Davidson, and Robert Henke.

Coinciding with the city's 375th anniversary celebrations, the festival will also host four showcases dedicated to the music and culture of Barcelona, Berlin, London, and Mexico City. THUMP will be presenting the latter on August 24 at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), featuring NAAFI mainstays Mexican Jihad, Omaar, and Lao, Oly, and Montreal's Cecilia/Babi Audi.
