Zubuntu Brings Deep Dubstep to the Art Gallery

"Wendigo" is more abstract and heavy than an obese philosopher

When done right, there's still nothing that hits you quite like that deep, deep dubstep. "Wendigo," by Tuff Wax affiliated Scottish teen Zubuntu is one of those tracks, and the visuals are an engagement of abstract themes and colors that take that whomp into some heady territory. The release, on Vava Records, is called Sound in Print 3 - Zubuntu/Part 2ism

The whole Sound in Print project, for which producers and artists collude on short-run presses with accompanied visual collaborations. Zubuntu's collection is titled "Nondeterminism." Yeah, this ain't your kid sister's EDM.

Check out the release.
