This Dreamy "Passionfruit" Edit Takes Drake to an 80s Roller Rink Party

Toronto producer Harrison puts a Quiet Storm twist on the 'More Life' highlight.

Now that Drake's More Life has been out for just over a month—an eternity by internet standards—there's been plenty of amateur SoundCloud DJs who have tackled songs from the Canadian rapper's latest project, with decidedly mixed results. Thankfully Toronto producer and funk enthusiast Harrison's 80s-influenced remake of playlist highlight "Passionfruit"—which he shared on Twitter yesterday—gives the track a dreamy Quiet Storm twist, which makes it stand out from the pack.

The entire snippet is only 45 seconds long, and much like Kansas producer Amherst's 2015 Young Thug disco edits, it's not hard to imagine listening to the track while strapping on skates at a roller rink.

Listen to the edit below before it gets pulled, and revisit Harrison's THUMP Mix from last year.
