Packers And Seahawks Swap Interceptions In Opening Minutes

The NFC championship is off to a roller-coaster start with the Packers and Seahawks trading interceptions in the opening minutes.

Well, it didn't take long. 45 seconds into the game and Richard Sherman picked off Aaron Rodgers in the end zone. Rodgers was looking for Davante Adams, and Sherman undercut the route, snagged the pass, and got two feet in bounds before his momentum took him out of bounds. It was reviewed, as all turnovers are, and upheld.

With the ball on his own 23, and the crowd all jacked up, Russell Wilson was picked off on a third-and-seven play on the very next possession. The Packers looked to have a touchdown on the resulting possession but review overruled the decision and Green Bay settled for a field goal. Then The Seahawks fumbled on the kickoff and Green Bay recovered.

Good lord, we've got quite the game brewing.
