Fans Set Up a 'Punch Bautista' Cutout So You Too Could Throw Hands at Him

But after the Jays routed the Rangers 10-1 yesterday? Maybe people will be making a new cutout in Toronto.

It's not entirely clear that it was a Texas Rangers fan who made this cutout or not. But it certainly seems pretty possible.

For yesterday's game at Globe Life Park in Arlington, a couple of tailgating fans set up a kind of festival-style, head-in-the-hole cutout for people to slot themselves in, so that they too could throw hands at Joey Bats like Rougned Odor. Fun!

Yes, it was an iconic moment in baseball history—the revenge taken on Jose Bautista for his equally iconic bat flip—but maybe the moment is getting a bit too much attention lately in the run-up to the Toronto Blue Jays-Rangers ALDS series? After all, the Jays did win the series against the Rangers in which Odor threw the infamous punch.
