Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 16th of October, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still, technically, president of FIFA.

Yesterday, UEFA's top brass got together to discuss Michel Platini's strange payment (bribe?) from FIFA. They decided to give him a month to come up with a good explanation. In the meantime, Spanish FA head Ángel María Villar will fill in for Platini. (Link in Spanish)

Barcelona and Neymar have been plagued by allegations of impropriety surrounding his transfer from Santos since the player first arrived in Spain. Neymar and his family are being investigated by Brazilian authorities. Santos recently came forward and said they will not sue the player. (Link in Spanish)

In the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Rolex Masters, Rafael Nadal beat Stan Wawrinka in straight sets. Is Rafa back? Rafa is back!

Jurgan Klopp takes charge of his first Liverpool match tomorrow. I'm convinced he'll be a success. My one concern is the British press: Will the British press grind Klopp into some sort of saft? Already he's upset at the paparazzi. According to Bild, Klopp complained that the photographers know where he goes almost immediately. " I do not like to be photographed constantly," he said. The Quarter Finals of the Rugby World Cup start tomorrow. South Africa takes on Wales and New Zealand plays France.

Manchester City is looking to redesign its badge, and it's asking for fan input.

A month ago, in this very column, I wondered how on earth Manchester United could justify paying 36 million pounds for Anthony Martial, a teenager with a fairly average scoring record. Well, Anthony Martial just won the Premier League's Player of the Month award! Good work, Anthony and Manchester United. He is very good and looks worth the fee.

The other day, the Premier League fined Jose Mourinho 50,000 pounds and banned him for a match for his criticism of the referee (and just about everybody else) after losing 3-1 to Southampton. Rather than accept his fine, he called it an "absolute disgrace," and will probably get banned again now.
