Chris Broussard Shouts Tristan Thompson Signing, Softly Backtracks

Oh, Chris Broussard.

On Thursday evening, Chris Broussard proclaimed in ear-splitting ALL CAPS that Tristan Thompson would be signing a three-year $53 million deal with the Cavaliers. He went on to explain why it was a good deal for Thompson, noting that he would be getting more than $17 million per year. Then, only slightly later on Thursday evening, came reality. Another set of sources said the Cavs were not aware of any deal and were not even interested in the three-year deal mentioned by Broussard. Then came the backtracking. This time only one word was capitalized. Then no words. Then: "The story is that Thompson lowered his demand."

The type-size on these tweets should be getting progressively smaller as he goes on. https://t.co/9h2UAVAnvx

We couldn't do anything about the font size, so we did the next best thing: an ode to Chris Broussard's lousy Thursday, that you can dance to.
