In the mid-2000s, Modest Mouse and the Killers lip synced to some songs on The O.C. and millennial-focused TV shows have been shoehorning indie rock songs into their episodes to try and woo the youth ever since. Bob's Burgers has strangely been able to pull it off best with their Thanksgiving songs written by the National and that new Sleater-Kinney music video, but Girls has been giving it a shot too. Last night, a previously-unheard St. Vincent song played over the Girls credits, and today Stereogum posted an audio rip. The full, high-quality version of the song isn't around yet, but you can head over to Tumblr and give the section that aired over the credits a listen in the meantime. It's worth mentioning that Stereogum also pointed out that Grimes and Lena Dunham's main squeeze Jack Antonoff are collaborating on a track to premiere on an episode this season.1.
