SAN FRANCISCO - SPRING AND BY SUMMER FALL TONIGHT

You know what's always bothered us? Why don't people throw their underwear at artists instead of just musicians? It's totally unfair. One-million-year-old Tom Jones gets buried with panties for miming "What's New Pussycat" at the MGM Grand, but nobody's got a spare pair of drawers to lob at Richard Serra? Well, for those of you in San Francisco, tonight's your chance to help rectify this egregious injustice against the making-pretty-things community. Ryan McGinley's new show "Spring and By Summer Fall" is opening at the Ratio 3 Gallery, and if you don't show up and pelt him with a rhinestone-encrusted thong then you are part of the problem.
