MIAMI - THE ONGOING SAGA OF FUN

Yeah yeah, Art Basel's over but Dana Goldstein had a totally different experience than the other amazing experience you read about. And her pics of it are the tits.

We began our Miami Basel trip celebrating Brandee's 18th birthday. Johnnie took us to Disney World. It was really really great. I rode my first rollercoaster ever--Thunder (thighs) Mountain Railroad and I never had so much fun!

And Space Mountain too. I screamed the whole time…

We arrived in Miami just in time for A-Ron's opening at Ohwow.

We met up with our Miami friends Nina, Katrina, Laz, and Anthony.

A.R.E. Weapons played… everyone was singing and dancing… it made me really happy to be where I was.

The after party was at Bella Rose, which adopted the nickname "Lit Miami" lightning quick. It was just like being at Lit except I was allowed in.

NYC marked its territory all over the walls and the floor. As the week progressed so did the amount of tags that appeared on the wall.

Katrina took us to a park one night after Bella Rose to climb trees and get high, one of my favorite things I did on the trip.

Nina took us to this punkrock art/show.

The art was really rad, photographs of old punk bands. Here on the wall is a bunch of Black Flag set lists.

We did a lot of party hopping… weaving in and out of fancy artfuck parties… The Raleigh, The Delano, blahblahblah… it was kinda crazy….

Photo Miami was dissapointing. The art was zzzzzzzzzzzzzz….but we had fun at Scope playing in the Bounce!

We hungout at this kid Benton's apartment. It had the nicest balcony and view ever. I was like "Heyyyy Boyyyyy…. you want a NY girlfriend?" JK JK JK JKKKKKK

At the Nike party I got waaaaaasted with the ANP people (who are awesome by the way) onstage and tripped out to Panda Bear's set. It was heavenly. Jason Dill gave everyone sparklers. It looked so pretty.

And I watched this person dance…

I'd been having dreams about the ocean so it was important I spend some time on the beach. Being in the ocean is very relaxing for me.

We went to a BBQ and then we went to a laser light show and then we skipped over to a paintball game, where I ran into my favoritest… Mr. Ryan McGinley, who was suited up for combat.

I was given the opportunity to get in the game and shoot some photos. It was kinda crazy. They shot at me… coughcoughASSHOLEScoughcough… but it was totally worth it.

My battle scars

The locals are kinda weird and they ride around on their bikes with snakes and roosters, no joke. Some kid let us take pics with his pet snake.

Overall it was a pretty amazing trip!
