There's never a better time to amp up your music library than on days when Bandcamp or other platforms are donating their share of proceeds to important causes. Today, Bandcamp is donating their share of proceeds from music sales to the Transgender Law Center. See their statement here, which also features a list of some of the trans and gender non-conforming artists on the site!

We whipped up a list of some of our favorite VGM/VGM-like albums, and there are tons more great artists on Bandcamp, many of whom are donating 100% of their shares as well! If you've been looking to spice up your music library, today is the day.

Lena Raine - Chip Collection

"A collection of music written for the Famicom sound chip as well as Daisuke Amaya's PxTone software."

Maxo - VGM 2015-2016

"All the music I've made for video games between 2015 and 2016."

Sundae Month - Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor Original Soundtrack

"Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor is a game by Sundae Month and published by tinyBuild, available now on Steam and itch.io."

Alec Lambert - We Know The Devil OST

"Anyone can kill the devil; that's why they always make teens the vampire slayers, the magical girls. But some kids can't even get that right; and that's why meangirl Neptune, tomboy Jupiter, and shy shy Venus have to endure one more week of summer camp and each other, singing boring songs about jesus, doing busywork for adults, and hoping god's radio can't hear them.

Before they can leave the summer scouts, they've got to spend twelve hours in the loneliest cabin in the woods and wait for the devil to come."

FLOOR BABA - GAMEWAVE

"Blending club music by way of jazz fusion, soundscapes that could be from an N64, lush chords, lazy grooves, deep bass, and catchy synth melodies, ex-game composer FLOOR BABA's debut solo album GAMEWAVE is a walk around the tropical groves of the internet."

Christa Lee - Welcome to the Fantasy Zone

"A loving tribute to the games of SEGA, the artists who worked on them, and the composers who made them sing."

Isaac Schankler - Ladykiller in a Bind OST

"Ladykiller in a Bind is an erotic visual novel by the creators of Analogue: A Hate Story about social manipulation, crossdressing, and girls tying up other girls. For maximum listening enjoyment, the Ladykiller in a Bind OST rearranges the game's over 50 dynamic music tracks into full-length, newly mixed/mastered/arranged compositions."

leon - bird world

Leon doesn't have an album description for bird world so I'll just say it's very good, fun, upbeat, bubbly, and I dream of the day bird world becomes a real game!

knife city - Star Versus OST

"the soundtrack to Studio Dustmop's amazing new NES shmup fighter STAR VERSUS! my first bunch of stuff written in FamiTracker, targeting the FamiTone2 engine! only using one pulse channel since PU2 was in use for sfx and stuff like that"

Alec Holowka - Night in the Woods Vol. 1: At The End Of Everything

No description here either, but both vol. 1 and 2 of the NitW soundtrack are incredible!
