NFL free agent and former Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was arrested while on vacation in Kissimmee, Florida when he allegedly pulled a gun on his wife and threatened to kill her, reports Chris Hush of WESH.
The police report, photographed above, paints a brutal scene in which Jackson allegedly returned home drunk—he also later tested positive for marijuana—kicked open his wife’s door, yelled at her, and she later picked up a knife because she was, “in fear, not knowing what Jackson was going to do.”

Jackson’s wife claimed that she then put the knife down and Jackson chased her up the stairs, loaded a gun, and pointed it at his her from 10 feet away, saying, “I’ll kill you, bitch, I’ll kill you.” Jackson’s wife then allegedly picked up a clothes iron to defend herself, when one of Jackson’s friends tried to stop him but he broke free and threatened to kill her again. Their children were allegedly asleep nearby at the time.
The report details that they had been arguing all vacation and that Jackson had a tendency to be “violent” when drunk. Jackson is now out on bond.
