Last month, when the internet was somehow a less insane place, Nicki Minaj took charge of online conversations when she appeared as a guest on Zane Lowe’s World Record. The Queens native discussed her relationship with Cardi B, Drake and Meek Mill’s infamous beef, and an upcoming world tour. She also released two new tracks with “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz.” The songs stirred speculation of a new album arriving, which she later confirmed without giving specifics. “I wanna say, I’ve been reading your tweets. I’m glad you love the records,” she said. “I feed off of your energy and I love you. Without you, I didn’t know if I would’ve put out another album.”
Today, Nicki added more fuel to the fire by releasing videos for both of the new tracks. In “Barbie Tingz” she dances around in a minimal setting, switching from puppet to b-girl. “Chun-Li” is the more cinematic of the two, as it shows Minaj in a futuristic setting, surrounded by neon lights as she goes from the club to riding around the city. Watch “Barbie Tingz” above and “Chun-Li” below.
