QUIET HOOVES AND NO AGE TONIGHT

Listen, I'm not going to bullshit you right now, this is probably the last weekend of good weather before the bucket of suck that is winter in New York gets dumped on us. Luckily, there are two shows tonight to help you celebrate the last whisker of warmth in the city.

The first is at Todd P of the great Showpaper's gallery on 42nd Street. If the fact that it's a show put on by a guy whose job is to regularly compile the best shows around the city isn't enough for you, we'll have you know that Quiet Hooves will be covering the Prince album Dirty Mind in its entirety. ITS ENTIRETY. Also playing will be Many Mansions and Living Things.

If you're a lazy person, and going on an expedition to 42nd street on a Friday night doesn't sound like a good idea to you, No Age is playing a free show at KCDC in support of their album, Everything in Between.

As you probably know, there's a good chance KCDC will be packed to the fucking gills tonight. The only thing that provides even a faint possibility of this show not being in violation of every maximum capacity law the fire marshal has ever decreed, is that it was just announced yesterday.

Either way, both shows are free, both start at seven, and both are all ages. It is literally impossible to not have a good time tonight.

PS, here's an old video of No Age at Death by Audio.
