Lincoln Chafee Has Dropped Out of the Presidential Race

Our shot at electing a president who looks like Jigsaw is gone.

Read: Who the Fuck Is Lincoln Chafee?

We're just about a year away from Election Day 2016, and the candidate pool is draining fast. Jim Webb is out, Scott Walker's a distant memory, and Joe Biden won't be swooping in like a presidential deus ex machina to secure the democratic nomination after all.

Now, former Rhode Island governor and senator Lincoln Chafee has decided to pack up and quit the fight for the White House too, Politico reports.

Chafee's campaign has struggled to get off the ground from the beginning, with only ten major donors and a staff who can't even remember the guy's Facebook password.

With Webb and Chafee out, the democratic primary race has thinned to three candidates—Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and guitar-wielding rock god Martin O'Malley.

So long, Lincoln Chafee. Our shot at electing a president who looks like Jigsaw is gone, once and for all.
