After being pummeled by their Hudson Derby rivals 3-0 the majority of the first half, NYCFC have a whiff of a hope against the New York RedBulls with Tommy McNamara’s stunning, stunning shot. And whiff he certainly did not. With three minutes to go in the first half, Tommy Mac received some distribution from the left wing about 30-yards out, found some space, and absolutely ripped a shot into the upper right corner. It’s not worth three goals, but maybe it should be.
