If you live in New York, there are a million and five things for you to do this Halloweekend, from punk shows to extravagent bacchanals at bowling alleys and secret warehouses. Or, you could party like an art star with a night at the museum, thanks to MoMA PS1's 4th Annual Halloween Ball, just as much a celebration of creativity as a embrace of costumed debauchery. The party is hosted by creative types like Darren Aronofsky, Klaus Biesenbach, Ryan McNamara, Michael Stipe, and The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, with DJ sets by Valissa Yoe and W Jeremy, and a live performance from SANDFLOWER, among others.

"It will be a fairy tale night you will never forget," promises the official event page, but it will be twice as nice if you come in a costume that measures up to last year's night of souls. To ensure your costume is up to snuff (and get pumped for this year's festivities), check out some selects from last year's Ball below:

MoMA PS1's 4th Annual Halloween Ball is on October 31 from 8PM to midnight. Buy tickets on the website, find the on the Facebook event page, or buy one of a limited release that will be available at the door.
