Los Suruba Brings Dear David's "I've Been Waiting" Straight To the White Isle

This one's stripped down for the 3AM crowd.

Emerging from the musical melting pot of Scandinavia, newcomer Dear David penned his first entry to the world over a year ago with an impressive debut release by the name of "I've Been Waiting." Playing out to a good deal of fanfare on the charts and airwaves alike, David's tune—a soulful slice of deep-house—is now ready for the remix treatment in the opening acts of the new year.

First up on the EP is a rework by Ibiza-based duo Los Suruba, who strip the tune down into the late-night realm with a trippy vocal FX and sleazy bassline. It's remixes like these that swiftly take a track once fit for an afternoon listen and send it straight into the cavernous halls of a 3AM dancefloor.

The I've Been Waiting Remix EP includes remixes by Umek, Mike Vale, and a new radio-edit of the original. It's out Jan. 27th on Beatport and Feb. 10th worldwide.
