Alland Byallo is the Best Kept Secret in Underground Dance Music

An exclusive premiere of “The Highest Pie in the Sky.”

Is Alland Byallo the best kept secret in underground dance music? You wouldn't be blamed for thinking so. A low profile is how the man seems to like it.

Take a look at the facts so far.

He dropped a debut full-length album called Brick by Brick back in 2009—the recipient of a rare 4 star rating from Resident Advisor—but since then, Alland has made many life changes.

A former resident, booker and art director of San Francisco's highly acclaimed [KONTROL] party, he stealthily relocated to Berlin years ago to develop his sound and style. And from dance music's storied ground zero, Alland has gone on to quietly deliver EPs, tracks and remixes on labels such as Poker Flat, Cocoon Recordings, Bpitch ControlUpon. You and Real Tone.

All of this building towards his highly anticipated new full length Bones, Flesh LP in October 2014, due on vinyl for Third Ear Recordings. With Alland's 15 years as a DJ producer, this dusty, raw, emotive recording promises to reveal a vibrant dedication to his craft, as well as the arrival of an underground fixture.

To shorten the waiting time for Bones, Flesh LP here's the track premiere of "The Highest Pie In The Sky" exclusively on THUMP.
