Does anyone even know what a chia seeds really are besides something you once spread on the back of a ceramic sheep you bought from an infomercial? Turns out they're rich in omegas, and lately they've been popping up in breakfast puddings, saturated with non-milk milks and coated in a slippery mucilage that looks something floating on a frog pond.
Preliminary research suggests that chia seeds might be good for your heart, but when I texted a photo of a gloppy chia pudding to a couple of chefs for their reactions, I found out that it strengthens love muscles, too.
