The Creators Project In Seoul: Event Recap & Photo Slideshow

Dispatches from our 4-day cultural extravaganza at Seoul’s Platoon Kunsthalle.

Crowds zealously gathered at the Platoon Kunsthalle last Friday for an unparalleled celebration of creative productions in art, technology, and music. After our multi-day exhibition of some of the most technologically imaginative artworks we've seen yet, a series of hands-on workshops in varying disciplines, and film screenings from the likes of Hyun Jin Baik and H5, The Creators Project Seoul 2011 event culminated with a bombastic music line-up. Ranging from synth-pop to minimalist to hip hop, the music matched the cooling heat of the early fall night and transported us into a dizzying world of vibrant visuals and heavy beats.

Starting the night off with Byul.org, front man Taesang Cho coaxed the crowd with the band's sweet synth melodies. Following his set, electronica mash-up trio Risque Rhythm Machine galvanized the atmosphere a few levels louder, and along with Optimo’s DJ set, prepared the eager audience for the much anticipated Drunken Tiger and Lumpens performance.

Nine panel screens projecting synchronized, interactive visuals provided the backdrop for the bold performances of Tiger JK, Tasha, and Bizzy, demonstrating the muti-media dynamism enabled by technological collaborations. And with Tasha's debut of her single “Get It In,” the sweat soaked and satisfied crowd responded with ballistic love and enthusiasm, making it the perfect finale to our 4-day event.

Drunken Tiger and Lumpens

_We also paired Lumpens and Drunken Tiger on Drunken Tiger’s latest music video for “Get It In.” You can read more about the _Kill Bill-inspired music video and check out the sneak preview below. We’ll be premiering the video on our site shortly, as well as a behind-the-scenes mini documentary about the making of process.
