Nicolas Jaar is bringing his record label, Other People, to New York City for a four-night residency at the small, Ridgewood, Queens music venue Trans-Pecos from December 8-11, 2015. The lineup of artists are as deep and eclectic as the artist himself, kicking off with a live set from Okokon and William Basinski, as well a live improv set from Bladerunner, a new collaborative group which consists of Darkside guitarist Dave Harrington, Will Epstein, Tlacael Esparza, Samer Ghadry and, yes…. Nicolas Jaar.This will set the stage for an all-night, *walk-ups only* set from the Nico himself in the venue's intimate basement on December 9. The next night will feature Afrika Babbaataa, who will perform a vinyl-only DJ set, as well as a DJ set from Other People-affiliate DJ Slugo.
