Jim Nantz and Phil Simms discussed the future of Ray Rice during the first half of Steelers-Ravens tonight and specifically wondered whether he would ever play in the NFL again. Simms suggested that it would be a hard sell for an owner to bring Rice into the fold since he beat up his then-fiancée and now-wife, Janay Rice. Also, from a purely football perspective, Simms continued, he's steadily declined anyway, and played injured through most of last year. The implication being that the cost-benefit analysis might not make sense.
