In the dystopic world of constant recording, it is futile to try and stifle our robot overlords. During an attempt to cut out his mic, tennis player Alison Riske's boyfriend, Stephen Amritraj, lends his girlfriend some—ahem—sagely advice. But the mic was too powerful. Resistance is futile. All of Amritraj's STFU glory—the kinds of words carried in whiskey-soaked whispers across country club tablecloths—is laid bare on the court. Many outlets, perhaps fueled by the Vine above, falsely reported that Amritraj was her coach. While Amritraj had played the professional circuit before (topping out as the 973rd best player in the world), represented India, and has been a coach with the U.S. Tennis Association, Duke and Virginia, he was apparently doling out advice in his free time.Riske took to twitter to set the record straight.
Riske stands by her man. If that's how things go in their relationship, I wonder what they constitute as dirty talk. Prrrowww…@BenRothenberg He's not my coach, he's my boyfriend. He came here using vacation time & helped me get a top 10 win today
