Morgan Freeman Tugs on Rival Mississippi State Player's Shorts During Game

Morgan Freeman was out pulling pranks during an Ole Miss basketball game earlier this week.

Hey, Morgan Freeman. You're not supposed to do that. But we'll give you a pass this time. #HailState pic.twitter.com/VwlAcKZAUu

What's going on here, sir?

Morgan Freeman is apparently a big Ole Miss fan and took in a game earlier this week between the Rebels and in-state rival Mississippi State. Being the hot-shot actor that he is, Freeman got court-side seats which make for a great view and also provide the opportunity for some tomfoolery. Maybe even some ballyhoo. At one point in the game, Mississippi State was attempting to inbound the ball right in front of the Ted 2 star and as the Bulldogs player was about to pass it in, Freeman ever so gingerly tugged on his shorts.

The MSU Twitter feed took it all in stride, but this is kind of weird, no? Like, you can't just be trying to pants people while they're playing basketball, starring turn in Along Came a Spider notwithstanding. Would I, a person who did not appear on screen opposite Ben Afleck in Sum of All Fears, have been memed with a Dr. Dre song featuring Snoop Dogg after interfering with live play? I highly doubt it. I'd probably be escorted from my seats. Just another benefit of having appeared in Chain Reaction, from the director of The Fugitive, I suppose.

Ole Miss beat MSU 88-61.
