Ravens Win on 64-Yard Blocked Field Goal Return for Touchdown

What a crazy finish.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns 33-27 in one of the weirdest finishes to a Monday Night Football game in recent memory. Cleveland and Baltimore swapped four different possessions in the final two minutes and Cleveland got its last possession on an interception with 55 seconds left in the game.

After a completion to the Baltimore 40-yard line on the first play, Austin Davis and the offense took six years to get a play off. Davis was in for the injured Josh McCown because the Browns are punishing Johnny Manziel, and when he finally did get the play off—with 18 seconds on the clock—he slid in bounds, forcing the Browns to use a timeout with nine seconds left.

With all that time lost, they had to settle for a 51-yard field goal to try for the win as time expired. Baltimore blocked the field goal and Will Hill scooped it up and returned it 64 yards for the game winning touchdown as time expired. With around four minutes left, Davis hit Travis Benjamin for a 42-yard line and Pettine initially indicated he wanted to go for the two-point conversion and a one point lead. He soon changed his mind and opted to go for the tie.
