Objekt’s Erratic Club Tune, “The Stitch Up,” Is Now Available on Bandcamp

In the run up to Objekt’s 2014 LP Flatland, the Berlin-based dark techno deconstructionist released a white-label called “The Stitch Up.” That vinyl-only rarity is now available in digital formats, after Objekt uploaded it to Bandcamp today. His Bandcamp page describes the track as a “club rework” of “One Stitch Follows Another” from the album.

In “The Stitch Up” Objekt sets a subtly menacing, atmospheric tone which he intersperses with erratic industrial spurts and spookily gentle bells, repurposing the album original into a club-ready powerhouse without sacrificing its grim sentiment.
