Damian Lazarus & Matthew Jonson – Going To The Desert
For years Damian Lazarus has been a regular at the Nevada event known only to the world as Burning Man. Known for his hypnotic marathon sets at the festival’s hotspots like the Robot Heart art car, he’s established a great deal of his career providing near-endless tech-house sets for thousands of reverlers all the way into the sunrise hours. To celebrate his love for the iconic desert gathering, Lazarus, along with his frequent collaborated (and another Burning Man icon) Matthew Jonson, have made one of their most beloved tracks “Going To The Desert”—a dreamy ode to the week-long party, available for free download.
Mayer Hawthorne – The Stars Are Ours (Detroit Swindle’s Big Dipper Mix)
Ah, the deep house remix. For some reason, producers of this groovy sub-genre have always seemed to have a knack for taking an original track from nearly any genre in existence, and stripping it down to the bare bones, adding in some of their own personal flavor to present a finished product that is all the better. This time around, Detriot Swingle get seriously funky with their day-old rework of Mayer Hawthorne’s crooner, “The Star Are Ours.” Just tell us you don’t feel all warm inside…and we’ll let you borrow our sweater.

Panic Bomber – Question
You can never go wrong with a Destiny’s Child remix. Something about their emotive, tantalizing vocal lines just mesh will with the all-around nature of house music. Though throughout the years many have attemped to flip their singalongs into something fit for the dance floor—few have succeeded. NYC-based producer Panic Bomber stormed onto Soundcloud today with a stellar effort that should soundtrack a few dance circles this weekend.
Octave Minds – In Silence
It’s Friday afternoon and most of you are ready to get into tonight’s festivities. But before you hit the bar, club, roller disco, or local watering hole—perhaps you might want a tune that will ease you into the weekend? Today, one of the most anticipated collaborative projects of the year has finally shown its face on our computer screens and the tag-team I’m referring to his the unlikely pairing of Berlin techno icon, Boys Noize, and the classical pianist-turned-Daft Punk-collaborater, Chilly Gonzales. Together, these two visionaries call themselves Octave Minds, and their first track “In Silence” is the perfect amount of dreamy pop to send you staight into the party—fully rested. Have Fun!
