What Went Down at the MUNCHIES Cookbook Launch Party

Wait—have you bought our cookbook yet?

This past Monday night, the night before the launch of our cookbook, MUNCHIES: Late-Night Meals from the World's Best Chefs (which, in case you somehow missed it, is out today from Ten Speed Press, so get on that), MUNCHIES took over VICE's Williamsburg offices to welcome our labor of love into the world.

The offices were flooded with attendees, drinking cocktails and beer and pretty much ingesting all food possible—Frank Pinello's pizza, a bomb smoked bologna and raclette sandwich from Erik Anderson, killer noodles from the Contra team, and a surprise mid-party drop from Shake Shack.

Special thanks to DJ Justin Miller, our illustrator Justin Hager, and our title partner Sir Kensington's, with some fine assists from Baldor, Old Blue Last, Angostura Bitters, and Shake Shack. The food, a lot of it cribbed from the pages of our cookbook, was obviously divine; the people, somehow, made it better. To those of you who rolled out, thanks! If you couldn't make it, here's a look at what went down.
