Korean Baseball Star And Former MLBer Ejected For Hilarious Meltdown

Former MLBer Koo Dae-Sung was ejected from a game after arguing balls and strikes by dusting off home plate.

Koo Dae-Sung had a cup of coffee with the New York Mets in 2005 with whom he recorded his only Major League hit, a booming double off Randy Johnson just as Tim McCarver was calling it the biggest "give-up" at bat of the season. He injured his shoulder sliding into home in the same inning and returned to Korea the following year. He's now a relief pitcher for the Sydney Blue Sox of the Australian Baseball League and over the weekend he got tossed for arguing balls and strikes with the home plate umpire. He didn't just question the calls, however, he went full Naked Gun.

Koo stormed right to home plate after a walk and dusted off the side of the plate for the umpire so he could better see it on calls he was obviously missing. He was immediately tossed. The confounded Australian broadcasters, who missed the initial confrontation at the plate, add another layer of fun to the scene. But it didn't stop there. After he was ejected, Koo hurled the baseball out of the stadium, stewed around in the dugout, and eventually had to be escorted out of the park, but not before giving the umpire a few more pieces of his mind.
