The Jets and Titans are currently abusing whatever audience is actually watching this shit spectacle, but midway through the third quarter they turned on each other. After a timeout to review a Jets touchdown—which was naturally overturned—both teams brawled in the middle of the field during the commercial break.
It's unclear what started the issue, but Geno Smith was jawing back and forth with some Titans defenders, there was some shoving, and then someone popped him in the face. At that point, the sidelines cleared and a huge scrum developed in the middle of the field. Jurrell Casey was heavily involved, as were Nick Mangold and Breno Giacomini.
Remarkably, only one penalty was called and no one was ejected. The Titans lead 11-10 heading into the fourth quarter. Christ.[CBS]
