Here's How Bad the Wind is for the British Open at St. Andrews

The wind at St. Andrews has caused a lot of grief and the British Open is suspended, but there have been some pretty cool visuals.

The British Open has been suspended until 4 p.m. this afternoon due to heavy winds at St. Andrews, at which point officials hope to finish the second round. The R&A also made the decision to push the final round back to Monday, rather than try to squeeze in 36 holes of golf in one day.

A group of players, including Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth, were on the course at 7 a.m. this morning trying to finish up their second round for roughly 32 minutes before their round was suspended again because the conditions were basically unplayable. Johnson, the leader, actually dropped a stroke in his short time on the course today. With winds getting up to 45 miles per hours, balls were being blown around the greens, and according to Bubba Watson's caddy, most players are pretty pissed at the organizers. Many players have openly wondered why they even resumed play this morning.

How windy is it at the Old Course? Louis Oosthuizen couldn't even get a putt in before the wind blows his ball away. http://t.co/5AHg9d0csi

So, things are a bit chaotic across the pond. The silver lining is, ESPN has caught some pretty amazing visuals caused by the powerful winds, making the most routine things look near impossible.
