Last night, BBC Newsnight revealed evidence that David Cameron believed he would struggle to win the EU referendum while Paul Dacre, a renowned Eurosceptic, was still editor of the Daily Mail. According to the BBC, Cameron went to the paper's owner to see if he could get Dacre fired, but was quickly rebuffed.
