A Meditative Look At The Possibility Of A Natural Cyber World

What if there was a digitally organic world floating somewhere in space? It could look something like this.

What if there existed a natural cyber world somewhere in the farthest expanses of space? A hyper-techno planet organism untouched by civilization, proliferated mysteriously over millions of years into an alien network of cities and superstructures? What would it look like? How would it persist? Not only does unc’s video zeo-x-s offer a brilliant glimpse into what this kind of world could look like, it also puts similar sci-fi worlds such as Tron to shame.

Zeo-x-s is a digitally organic world filled with black and blue monolithic structures covered in pulsating computer etchings and hieroglyphics. The world shimmers electric obsidian, the cool glow illuminating an endless series of wired corridors and cabled tunnels that stretch forever through a galaxy of planets. An amorphous fragment located somewhere in the core of one of the planets fluctuates wildly as if to continually update itself through an advanced form of architectural modulation. Its smooth and fluid metamorphosis almost betrays its own metallic anatomy as it twists into a whirling seashell vortex that transforms the overarching bio-techno Gothic metropolis.

The accompanying music by dune/orange imbues the fractal journey with a haunting serenity that emphasizes the purity of the untouched digital habitat.
