Our Creators are a very talented and prolific bunch, and our inbox is always cluttered with alerts of new remixes and mashups from the incredible DJs and producers in our line-up. We just couldn't keep these fresh new tunes to ourselves because, after all, filesharing is caring. Here are our top picks from the past week.Spank Rock feat. Santigold: “Car Song”The days until Spank Rock‘s new album drops are quickly ticking by (Everything Is Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar is officially out Tuesday) and even though we heard from Naeem Juwan last week, this week he’s back accented with Santigold‘s sultry, yet ladylike, croonings in “Car Song.” The pace and content of this tune actually kind of reminds us of Mark Ronson and the Business Intl.’s “Bike Song,” (which Spank Rock helped write)… bringing us to our next remix…Mark Ronson and the Business Intl.: “Record Collection” (CSS remix)Brazilian pop group CSS‘s rendition of Mark Ronson and the Business Intl.’s “Record Collection” sounds like it could have come out of 90s, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The track is bursting with sassy, dance-y synths, classic piano, and 8-bit breaks, reminiscent of the party vibe CSS always seems to bring. The entire remix album is available now on iTunes.Cream: “White Room” (DJ Mehdi remix)We love it when trendy “It” DJs like DJ Mehdi remix classic songs like “White Room” from British Rock supergroup Cream, because it’s such a detour from from their predictable pop and electro agendas. Mehdi barely touches Eric Clapton’s vocals, but brings out the cymbals and beefs up the tempo and effects (giving it that dance floor sheen, no doubt).
