HAPPY ANNIVERSARY VIDEO DAYS

Can you believe Video Days is 20 years old? I can, but I was only six when it came out. I bet if you were a teenager or whatever and already into skating, that news probably makes you feel pretty old. Sorry. To celebrate the anniversary, Skateboarder magazine somehow rounded up the whole Blind crew from 1991 for a photo shoot with the potential to give any skate nerd a big old tent pole.

Mark Gonzales, Guy Mariano, Rudy Johnson, Jason Lee, and Jordan Richter all piled into a busted up jalopy almost identical to the original. This is just like if the Beatles were all still alive and someone made them walk across Abbey Road all dressed in white again. The video is broken into three segments, the last of which is a 15 minute interview with Guy Mariano where he tells every single story from the Video Days days you could ever want to hear, including that one time they got arrested and found out Spike Jonze isn't Spike Jonze's real name.

Here's Jason Lee's part with Milk's "The Knife Song" in all its glory:

And here's The Gonz:

You can watch the whole thing here, minus the intro song by War, "Low Rider," presumably because of some copyright crap. But hey, just play the song here, then watch the video in a different window and it'll be just like the good old days. Very sneaky.
