Shy Guy has been making a name for himself producing beats out of his Bowery apartment for some time now. He is certainly a quiet dude, but as friendly as they come. We caught up with him for our third installment of Photographic Memory, to get a glimpse into his life downtown as a producer, DJ, and vintage clothing connoisseur. Having produced beats for up and comers Le1f, Black Dave, and JunglePussy, we're excited to see what he has in store next.

Got a fade from Money Mike. He cuts hair alongside some badass Russian goons. They're always playing Scarface in the barbershop.

Got this neon green No Limit© TRU (The Real Untouchables) hat in the mail. Didn't take it off all week.

Made a couple beats with my spare time!

Recorded some new material with Junglepussy. She brought over some bomb Jamaican food.

Grabbed a few beers at 169 bar.

Got home and Bori$ was on my jacket again. He always likes to defile my clothes.

Practiced my chopped-n-screwed DJ set for Know-Wave.

Ran into the homie Brian Procell on Canal St. He's always putting me on game with the vintage gems!

Hung out with my bro Gogy at Magic Gallery! He's an extremely talented artist. Pieces from him, Peter Sutherland, Nick Sethi, Weirdo Dave and Shawn Powers are still on display now at his space.

Went to a neighborhood video store relic to cop some Kung-Fu DVD's. They have a great selection of Asian cult movies and 70's Blaxploitation films.
