LONDON - REPLY TO ALL

Dear Vice,
We have about 200 people in my office. Then we're part of a national company that has about 1000 staff. Then that company is part of a worldwide team of about 50,000. Yesterday some douche over in Canada hit 'Reply to all' on an email addressed to the entire global network group. Have you ever received an email that was not meant for you? I have. I deleted it and forgot about it. But that is not what the myriad idiots who work in my company did. Oh no! They took it upon themselves to again click 'Reply to all' and tell everyone that the email they received was not meant for them.

One by one, the 'Reply to all' threads began to elongate. From all over the world, hundreds and thousands of people wrote back to everyone. This went on for hours. I am sitting at my desk and all I'm doing is just deleting, deleting, deleting. My inbox was rammed with these idiots saying "Sorry! Not meant for me!" or "You have the wrong person :-(." After about 4 hours, someone finally wrote a "Reply to all" saying that the whole global network was being copied in and to please stop replying all … then even more people hit "Reply to all" just to say "Thanks!"
