Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted from her official account. Her personal Twitter account was banned in January 2022 for “repeated violations of [the platform’s] COVID-19 misinformation policy.”Meanwhile, “Stop the Steal” organizer Ali Alexander wrote on Telegram: “Twitter’s Team was never any match for the minds guiding Elon. I hope y’all rage quit and don’t bother destroying the evidence.”Many were also celebrating the departure of some accounts from Twitter in response to Musk’s purchase. Activist Shaun King appeared to delete his account after posting a message saying that Musk’s takeover was “about white power.”
