Ricky Rubio's Best Pass on a 15-Assist Night

This Ricky Rubio bounce pass is beautiful and outrageous all at once.

Ricky Rubio missed a triple-double by two rebounds in last night's 121-113 win over the Trailblazers—he had 13 points along with the 15 assists—and helped Minnesota break a four game losing streak in the process. This assist right here to Andrew Wiggins was the best of the night. He had another sweet pass to set up a Wiggins dunk, but this is the stuff that makes you shake your head and say damn.

In transition midway through the third quarter, Rubio got inside the offensive half of the court and threw a dart of a bounce pass off the top of the three-point line between three defenders and perfectly in stride to Wiggins, who finished with a floating layup. There's nothing more satisfying than a ridiculous bounce pass. It can often be a high risk move to sneak a pass off the court between defenders who have limbs and stuff to get in the way, but this is the reward. And just look at Nic Batum, he doesn't know what he should be doing. He's just running around with his arms up like he's pretending to be an airplane.

If you're looking for more Rubio, here's a a quick highlight reel of the best of the rest of his passes last night.
