Bryce Harper has been a force for the Nationals in the postseason and is personally responsible for both Washington runs tonight. The second was an absolute blast that just stayed fair and ended up in the water outside AT&T Park, momentarily tying the game at 2-2.Harper plated Ian Desmond in the fifth inning on a slap double down the left field line and one inning after Hunter Pence made his huge grab, Harper made sure Pence would never have a play. One guy did have a play, and jumped from his paddle surfboard to get Harper's ball in the water.

The joy for Washington was short-lived, though, because the Giants were able to score a run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the inning. With the bases loaded and Pablo Sandoval at the plate, Aaron Barrett threw one in the dirt that skipped all the way to the backstop, allowing Joe Panik to score. The Giants lead 3-2 after seven.[MLB]
