Kansas Connects on Nasty Alley-Oop

Kansas is struggling against Iowa State, but oh boy did they connection on a vicious alley-oop.

Iowa State began the second half with a 17-2 run to climb all the way back into the Big 12 Championship against Kansas. The Jayhawks began the half hitting two of three free throws and then went scoreless for the next three minutes, before again hitting free throws. They didn't make a field goal all half until the 13:52 mark and, well, it was worth the wait.

Frank Mason III, saw Wayne Seldon, Jr. running up the wing and lofted a running lob from behind the three point line that Seldon caught one-handed and cocked back for a violent dunk. The oop gave Kansas a momentary boost, but the Cyclones kept pushing as Kansas went through another extended drought and Iowa State took a four-point lead with 6:20 left in the game.
