Army Beats Navy For The First Time Since 2001

With cadets spilling out of the stands, this one is going to be talked about all year.

Regardless of how you fall on the glaring issues that our country has with its military industrial complex, the Navy-Army game is unquestionably one of the biggest rivalries in college football. One steeped in tradition that dates back to 1890. Well, one of those more recent traditions has been Navy beating the snot out of Army since 2001. But today, that tradition broke, my friends.

Navy went into the game with helmets bearing 14 stars—one for each year they've beaten Army—but they would be denied the opportunity to add another, as Army outclassed them on the day. The halftime score was 14-0 Army, and Navy mounted a 17-point run afterwards, but Army would seal the game with this, their lone score in the second half:

Topped off with cadets spilling out of the stands, this one is going to be talked about for at least a year.
